MakanFIT collects information to personalize your healthy lifestyle experience, track macro targets, and deliver accurate insights.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
To calculate personalized caloric and macronutrient targets, we collect metrics including your age, weight, height, fitness goal (lose weight, maintain, gain muscle), and daily activity levels.
We store the foods, portions, meal types, and water intake you choose to log to track your daily progress.
If you explicitly grant permission, MakanFIT reads steps and active calorie data from connected system trackers to adjust your daily goals.
We utilize the collected information strictly for app functionalities and analytics:
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third-party advertising companies.
Your authenticated profile data and logs are securely synced to our Supabase database server utilizing industry-standard Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure only you have access to your personal files.
For offline support, we write a cache of your logs to local device storage using encrypted key-value pairs (AsyncStorage).
We retain your personal data, profile information, and food logs for as long as your account remains active. If you initiate account deletion via the Profile screen or by contacting us, all your personal data, credentials, and logs are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our active databases and servers within 7 days.
You retain complete control and ownership over your personal data.
You can erase all locally cached logs and weight history at any time using the "Reset All Data" option on the Profile settings screen.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data from our cloud servers instantly by tapping the "Delete Account" button inside the app's Profile tab.
Alternatively, you may request permanent account deletion by emailing us at hussaidon@gmail.com. We will verify your identity and delete all records within 7 days.
